Filmbasen – take 2

SthlmConnection is proud to present the new, community enriched incarnation of filmbasen.se (Swedish)! Filmbasen is a "meeting place and talent development center" for young film workers in the Stockholm area, hosted by the organization Fanzingo and Stockholm County. The site was released in a simpler form back in October last year, and we've been working since then on what would become the new, complete version of the web site.

The goal of the project was to provide a transparent and easy solution for handling applications for film production support. Filmbasen also wanted to create a platform where young film makers in Stockholm could find people who share their interests and help them communicate with each other. Apart from that, they also needed a tool for communicating with their audiences.

The solution was a web site built with Drupal, containing both the already existing info section and the new community section, where the film makers can showcase both themselves and their film projects.
