Perrito and Konfront proudly present their latest joint project: filmbasen.se!

Filmbasen is a "meeting place and talent development center" for young film workers in the Stockholm area.

Although Stockholm county have the most active young film makers in Sweden, it has for a long time lacked a meeting place where they can receive support in a combination of coaching, equipment, and financial production means. As a reaction to this, Film Stockholm and the Fanzingo association launched Filmbasen – an operation which has the goal to widen the recruiting base for the film business and develop new talent for Swedish film. The dream is to become Scandinavia's most colorful place for nurturing young film makers.

Finally, Filmbasen has gotten it's own home on the Web. At the moment, the site is mainly a tool for providing information about the project and what's going on. In the next phase we will build a project and community section where young film makers can cooperate on their current projects, find partners, exchange information, and apply for project funding.

filmbasen.se is built on Drupal 6, which has provided a solid foundation for this project. In the next phase we will be able to make even more use of it's famous power and flexibility.
